This is one to watch for the fall (when hopefully good movies will begin to show themselves again). Fury is a David Ayer-directed, World War II tank drama. In addition to Brad Pitt, the cast includes Shia LeBeouf (presumably pre-retirement), Logan Lerman, Jon Bernthal, Jason Isaacs and Michael Pena. Fury will release November 14, 2014. Synopsis below
April, 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and out-gunned, and with a rookie soldier thrust into their platoon, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.
I saw the headline, and realized that Hollywood is losing me, something I thought would never happen. Then I saw that poster. Creativity still exists.

It’s out there. We just have to support it when we see it.

It’s telling that Jupiter Ascending got yanked from the summer. An original screenplay—burn it!

I added the trailer btw which just released and this looks AMAZING. Pitt is just raising it and raising it. This is a landmark fall film for me.
