I had a really long and witty review of this film that WordPress just ate and before I go I throw my Chromebook through a window, here’s my sincere hope for the entire Taken phenomenon and Liam Neeson as an action star. 1.75/10

When I look into my heart, I can’t blame him. They’re offering him so much money. And he used to have such stature that it’s easy to pretend his recent output never existed.
Because he’s not going to stop. His next film, Run All Night, looks exactly the same. The audience in the theater last night actually laughed at the trailer, though that might have had something to do with the fact that the song Danny Boy was being sung in slow motion. Is there a Phantom of the Opera-like sound mixer somewhere beneath Hollywood, with a pathological need to superimpose slowed-down versions of songs over every single trailer these days?
It’s OK. The trailer for the Max Max reboot made up for everything and more. As a staunch non-fan of all things Mad Max, I have to say I was impressed. It’s going to be a great year.

I still haven’t seen the first one… and from what I’ve heard, it’s the only one bothering with…
