Arrow has continued to be one of the strongest shows on TV during its run, which now enters the fourth season. If you’re not up-to-date, both the synopsis for season four and the trailer are going to ruin a lot of the wealth of changes that season three wrought for Team Arrow. I haven’t heard anything official, but I assume next season will be the last for the show. It’s format has been to intertwine a year in the life of the evolving Hood, Arrow, Green Arrow with that of one of the five years Oliver Queen spent away before returning home. Extrapolating that out, next season will be the loop closing, covering the last year he was away and leading us back to the series premiere. As much as I would love to see it go on, it seems that’s where the writers have been heading since the beginning. We still have miles to go, though, and this trailer promises another awesome run when Arrow returns next month
After defeating his most formidable foe to date and riding off into the sunset with longtime flame Felicity Smoak, Oliver Queen (a.k.a. The Arrow) left Starling City with the hopes of beginning a new life. But will Oliver ever truly be able to leave behind his past as the Arrow, and, if so, what becomes of the team he has worked so hard to assemble? And with Malcolm Merlyn having ascended to the top of the League of Assassins as the new Ra’s al Ghul, is anyone really safe?
Do you think it may get a season 5? I think it would be more than worthy of a 5th season and it could then set off potential spinoffs for the rest of the team.

Oh I think it will definitely get its five seasons, I just think that they set out to end it at five. But characters could definitely pop up on Flash or Legends of Tomorrow and who knows maybe Ollie will move to the DC Cinematic Universe.

I really hope that green arrow turns up in the DC cinematic universe. Him and Afflecks batman would be immense.
