A second trailer is out for the post-assassination look at former First Lady Jackie Kennedy. Starring Natalie Portman, Jackie, has been getting stellar advance reviews, and the role seems tailor made to deliver another Oscar nomination for Portman. Jackie also stars Peter Sarsgaard, John Carroll Lynch, Max Casella, John Hurt, Greta Gerwig, and Billy Crudup. Jackie opens in theaters on December 2, 2016.
The trailer makes the movie look good. I do smell Oscar-bait with this movie as I do expect a nomination (of some kind) for Jackie.

Even without the movie, I think Portman will grab another. No one has really owned something yet this year. Only got to see Beasts this weekend but Turkey day….I may pull the rare quad and catch up.

Yeah, I think Jackie or La La Land is going to be top contenders for the award season. Hopefully you get to catch up on your movie viewing!
