All men are created equal… then, a few become firefighters. Only the Brave, based on the true story of the Granite Mountain Hotshots, is the heroic story of one unit of local firefighters that through hope, determination, sacrifice, and the drive to protect families, communities, and our country become one of the most elite firefighting teams in the country. As most of us run from danger, they run toward it – they watch over our lives, our homes, everything we hold dear, as they forge a unique brotherhood that comes into focus with one fateful fire.
great cast. I am not familiar with the story but it looks great.

Looks every bit as good as you would expect from the talent involved. This is one case of the director being a huge selling point for me. Tron Legacy was striking, and Oblivion was striking and good. And the trailer looks better than I was expecting.
This looks like a big screen kind of film, but I will have to ponder and think about prioroties, as there are so many movies I want to see in an actual theater this season. It’s going to be a good season for actual big screens I think, that will more than make up for the summer… on my list are Blade Runner, Thor, JL, Coco, The Current War (looks visually arresting), Shape of Water, Orient Express, and I forget one more, isn’t there something coming out two weeks before Christmas? Also Happy Death Day, but only if I can go to LA and watch it in a theater there, in the hopes that someone involved with the film will be quietly standing in the back, so I can boink him in the eyes).
