Trailer TIme: Jupiter Ascending International Trailer #2 (2014)

I have to say….I have no idea what to say about this film.  Disaster or genius; that seems to be the Wachowski Way.  We’ll find out July 18th.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow have debuted a new international trailer for the Wachowskis’ Jupiter Ascending, starring Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis, Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth, Tuppence Middleton, Doona Bae, James D’Arcy and Tim Pigott-Smith. Check it out below!

In the July 18 release, Jupiter Jones (Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people’s houses and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along—her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.

(sorry for the embedding issues with this; it’s proving troublesome, so just use the link for YouTube above)

Today, we have our second trailer for Batman Arkham Knight and it’s a gameplay trailer featuring the return of the Scarecrow, who was used so well in the first Arkham Asylum game. This looks amazing.

2. Arkham Knight will release 10/14/14.
3. The events in the game take place a full year after the climax of Arkham City (and who is going to take the place of Hamill’s Joker?).
4. Finally, the Batmobile will be joining the series. The map will be much, much larger (as you’d expect in next-gen) and the Batmobile will be required to traverse it.
5. This will be the final game in the Arkham saga.

First Hanks, Then Spielberg, Now the Coen Brothers Working on U-2 Spy Plane Drama

Tom Hanks

First Tom Hanks announced he’d be doing a historical drama based on  the true story of James Donovan, the project follows the American attorney who was tasked with negotiating the release of pilot Gary Powers in the wake of the 1960 international incident.

Then Steven Spielberg jumped in as director.

Now the Coen Brothers are going to write the script.

Given it’s a Spielberg film, John Williams will probably do the score.

The ghost of Orson Welles just called and wants in!
