Comic Con 2014: Wednesday’s Posters – Avengers Age of Ultron, The Hobbit Battle of the Five Armies, The Batsuit and Much More

Get ready for the madness! The media orgy that is San Diego Comic Con International 2014 kicked off tonight with Preview Night and already the posters, photos and promo art are flying around the Intertubes. Rather than carpet bomb you with posts, KT will do a daily wrap-up of the day’s promotional art, so you can look forward to new galleries through Sunday. Today brought us The Walking Dead Season 5,  the Batsuit from Batman v. Superman Dawn of Justice (or at least the cape and cowl), Avengers: Age of Ultron, Mad Max, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, Ant-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, Hitman: Agent 47 and Neil Blomkamp’s (District 9) next film, Chappie.  Drink in the promotional goodness.  There’ll be much more to come!

  1. Out of all these images, the one that grabs me most is the Chappie poster. I rarely out-and-out dislike a movie, I can usually find a sliver lining, but I did not enjoy a single thing about Elysium, to the point where I had almost written Neil off. Chappie sounds like it has a different tone.

Does that cowl actually resemble Ben Affleck?

    1. Well I loved Elysium so I’m looking forward to Chappie too. I think it’s the most molded-to-a-face Batman mask I’ve seen. It looks pretty darn good on him. WB released a new image that will be in today’s batch o’ Comic Con fun.

      1. Can’t wait to hear what you think of Snowpiercer, because the premise is similar to Elysium. Snowpiercer would have been a worthy follow-up to District 9 IMO.
