As if to remind us, “have fun with those games you’re burning time with until ours comes out”, Rocksteady Studios today released part one of a two part trailer focused around ACE Chemicals.  For those not steeped in the lore of the Bat (heathens!), ACE is where Batman and the Red Hood fought, the Red Hood fell into a vat of chemicals and was presumed dead…….until out crawled the Joker.

All I can say after watching this epic first part (part two to be released December 1st) is that this looks like a generation defining game.  Between the story, the game play, the perfection of Rocksteady’s handling of the character, they might not be exaggeration with their ad “Be the Batman”.  Video game trailer of the year so far!
