Though the start of the NFL season is still a little under two months away, EA Sports has released the achievement list for this year’s installment of the mammoth Madden series.  Madden goes through phases.  There will be a reinvention that makes it worth picking up, then EA will slowly just tire fans and churn out essentially the same product every year with slightly better graphics (which at this point are getting photorealistic).  Two years ago, Madden went through one of its revolutions, last year’s game was essentially the same, this year’s game seems the same as that.  Moreover, though I rarely comment on the content of achievement lists, this just seems lazy.  That won’t stop the game from selling millions of copies when it releases for previous and current gen consoles on August 23, 2016.  See the full achievement list below courtesy of the home for cheevo hunters on the Intertubes: xboxachievements.com.

Madden NFL 17 – Achievements
There are 34 achievements with a total of 1000 points.

The Gold Standard (100 points)
Earn gold from a drill inside the Skills Trainer.

Budding Playmaker (30 points)
Earn at least one bronze medal in all Basic Offense drills inside of Skills Trainer.

Budding Game Wrecker (30 points)
Earn at least one bronze medal in all Basic Defense drills inside of Skills Trainer.

Basic Concept (30 points)
Earn at least one bronze medal in all Football Concept drills inside of Skills Trainer.

Skillfully Executed (30 points)
Earn at least one bronze medal in all Advanced Offensive Drills inside of Skills Trainer.

Outwit the Competition (30 points)
Earn at least one bronze medal in all Strategy Drills inside of Skills Trainer.

Double Trouble (25 points)
Score a rushing and passing TD with a QB in a single game (no SuperSim, or Co-Op).

Score a TD on an option play (no SuperSim, Skill Trainer, Practice, or Co-Op).

Master Tactician (25 points)
Make a Coach Adjustment (No SuperSim, Practice or Co-Op).

Execute a Successful Fake Punt for a First Down (No SuperSim, Practice or Co-Op).
