Paramount has released the final trailer for Star Trek: Beyond (Star Trek XIII), which will open in theaters this weekend. Each one of the four trailers has gotten progressively better, so combined with pretty positive reviews, I’m looking forward to spending some more time with Kirk & Co. As a side not, JJ Abrams (no word on if he’s directing or continuing in a producer role) has confirmed Star Trek XIV will see the return of George Kirk (Chris Hemsworth). That will be a bit of a trick since he died in the first few minutes of Abram’s reboot. But, hey, it’s Star Trek. What’s a little time travel when it’s family? Star Trek: Beyond opens July 22, 2016.
This is one of my most anticipated games of 2016. A partnership between Telltale Games, who have created an entire genre of chapter-based, choice-oriented stories using licenses like The Walking Dead, Borderlands, Fables, Minecraft, etc. and the Dark Knight. This is all we know about the plot so far.
Enter the fractured psyche of Bruce Wayne and discover the powerful and far-reaching consequences of your choices as the Dark Knight. In this gritty and violent new story from the award-winning creators of The Walking Dead– A Telltale Games Series, you’ll make discoveries that will shatter Bruce Wayne’s world, and the already fragile stability of a corrupt Gotham City.
The first episode is due next month digitally. Store goers will have to wait until September.
