X-Wings in Star Wars: Rebels Season 4

Star Wars: Rebels Season 4 Trailer #3 “This Is How A Rebellion Starts!”

The final trailer for the final season of Star Wars: Rebels‘ hammers home the connection between the animated series and the beginning of the Rebellion.  The series will return Monday, October 16 (12:30 a.m., 3:00 a.m., 7:30 a.m., 5:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. EDT), on Disney XD and the Disney XD App. The final season of Rebels takes place about a year before Rogue One and A New Hope…..Ezra and Kanan’s odds aren’t great, is what I’m saying if you know the Jedi population when those films begin.  Read Coming Soon’s full description below.  I would say more, but I’m still finishing season three and don’t want to spoil things for myself.

  1. All TV series need to limit themselves to four years. Four years is a perfect length of time for a show. No show ever jumped the shark after just four seasons. There are some exceptions that prove the rule… Mork and Mindy was ruined from the start of the second season, Boston Public turned into a bizarre parody of itself by season 2, and I don’t know what anyone was thinking with Millennium. But in general, four years is enough time to get to know and love a group of characters, there is not enough time for the running gags and character traits to become cliches, and the creators would know they only had four years to complete the character and story arcs, and do what that want to do. It would up the game. Then, go off on a high note. Everyone remembers the characters at their peaks. If it’s a good show, everyone remembers stellar writing and directing, ect.

This needs to be codified as law.

    1. Gotta disagree. There are a lot of shows that thrive after 4, Game of Thrones just one example of a dozen that come to mind. Lots of shows overstay but there are also shows that need more time to tell their story especially now that more are plotting their series. Justified, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Americans, the list is huge. My mental acuity now is not.

      1. I hope things are okay in Killing Time land. I wish there was something I could do from across the Internet. Never hesitate to ask though.
