The Incredibles 2 Teaser #2 (2018) *Winter Olympics Preview*

During last night’s exhibition of superhuman abilities at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, Disney Pixar unveiled a new sneak peak of this summer’s most anticipated animated film, The Incredibles 2, opening June 15, 2018.

Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.

  1. This looks great, and as I keep saying, Bird says he wrote it by utilizing unused ideas from the first one. It takes up right where the last one left off, and it looks like it recaptures the tone and humor of the first one without missing a beat. But there was not even an MCU back when the first one came out. If all this film has to offer is the exact same thing, it might seem kind of dated. I don’t mean to be negative, but while this trailer looks great, it does not look awesome. It looks comforting and cute. I was stoked before I saw this trailer, and now I’ve experienced a bit of al letdown. And it was a REALLY GOOD trailer.

      1. I actually enjoyed it. Made me laugh. REALLY tough to do right now. I’m willing to be cautiously optimistic. I take it a weekend at a time now despite the fact I showcase things not happening for months. So now I want to see both Annihilation and Game Night. That’s next. Then I’ll handle the next week. Stayin’ present.
