Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017) TV Spot “LUKE IS ON THE FALCON!!!”

36 DAYS TO GO, PEOPLE!!!  This latest TV spot offers a little new footage, the most significant of which is Luke on the Falcon for the first time in who knows when.  Some people may consider this a spoiler, but …..the ship is on the island…..we know he’s going to get his cranky butt off the island at some point…..THE SHIP IS ALREADY ON THE ISLAND!  It also gives a loot at what appears to be Snoke’s throne room for the first time.  Why isn’t this movie already here????

In Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the Skywalker saga continues as the heroes of The Force Awakens join the galactic legends in an epic adventure that unlocks age-old mysteries of the Force and shocking revelations of the past. The film stars Mark Hamill, the late Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro.

Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi International Trailer #1 “Let the Past Die. Kill It.”

The first international trailer for Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi is out, and it does have a few new shots for American audiences, but is largely a remixed version of the full trailer we got (click here to watch) earlier this month.  Interestingly, while the domestic trailer starts with and focuses more on Kylo Ren, the international trailer flips and starts with Rey and Luke.  Either way, we’re only six weeks out now from release date, and this movie cannot get here soon enough.

Kylo Ren Reacts to The Last Jedi Trailers

Auralnauts is a YouTube channel you should be following if, for no other reason, to get their Kylo Ren’s reaction to the latest Star Wars news and trailers.  Sounding uncannily like Adam Driver, Kylo will give you his take on the trailers and review Star Wars films he’s not even in (here’s his review for Rogue One).  They’re always hilarious, the more so the bigger a Star Wars nerd you are.  Ren was especially a fan of the beginning to the latest The Last Jedi trailer (he also wants a porg).  Check it and Auralnauts out.  They mint mirth.  Happy Saturday to all!

Mark Hamill in Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Star Wars: The Last Jedi has been the most secretive  of any of the Disney-era films yet, with nary a leak out there aside from those spun off of the teaser trailer (click here to watch) released four months ago.  I can’t help but think that we’re on the cusp of getting the full trailer as we’re now only four months away from the opening of the next Saga film.  Entertainment Weekly’s fall preview issue features two covers for The Last Jedi (still keeping people wondering whether the title refers to Luke or Rey, though Hamill has said it refers to Luke).  The captions provide some interesting details, but the most awesome pic has to be Snoke’s Praetorian Guard, an upgraded look on Palpatine’s Imperial Guard.  Snoke may be a new character, but everything about The First Order seems like an upgrade or an evolution from The Empire, so there is a connection somewhere.  Take a look at these full slew of images and begin to speculate.  It’s not too far now.  Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi opens December 15, 2017.
