LEGO games are my Halo/Call of Duty/Destiny all rolled up into a stud encrusted packaged of manic destruction followed by months of me screaming WHERE IS IT; IT”S SUPPOSED TO BE HERE!!!! WHYYY!!!!! Releasing for all platforms on June 28, 2016, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, not only chronicles the events of the highest-grossing film in US history. The game will contain several levels that connect parts of the film that happened behind the scenes and like all Lucasfilm games, comics, TV shows, movies and Pez dispensers, they are considered canon.
To get the full lowdown on what exactly this means and what will be included in the $10 season pass (which as far as season passes go, seems a bargain), we turn to our sensei, our guru, our Yoda: xboxachievements.com (who will also provide the achievement list down below, some of which are pretty hilarious). This summary was written by XBOX Achievements’ Richard Walker:
Warner Bros. Interactive has today offered a full rundown of what you can expect from LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Season Pass, which will grant access to a whole bunch of DLC, including three new Level Packs and a slew of characters cherry-picked from across the entire Star Wars universe.
Each of the three Level Packs will include new content not seen in the movie, such as Poe Dameron’s journey back to the Resistance following his crash-landing on Jakku, the assault on Maz Kanata’s temple from Kylo Ren’s perspective, and an escape from Starkiller Base, as seen from the cockpits of two Resistance Pilots.
The LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Season Pass will cost $9.99/£7.99 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC, with five Character Packs featuring heroes, villains and droids also included. One is also a Season Pass exclusive: The Jedi Character Pack, which will be available at launch on 28th June.
Each Character & Vehicle Pack will also be available for $1.99/£1.59 each, while Level Packs will cost $2.99/£2.39 each. Alternatively, you can get the LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Deluxe Edition, which includes the game, Season Pass and early access to The Empire Strikes Back Character Pack.

I’m really sorry if I’ve been preaching doom and gloom, Dave. I didn’t mean to bring down the energy level around here. Mads Mikkelsen has joined the chorus of “it’s not a big deal,” and I’m going to go with it. And after the astonishing way those two LEGO directors turned interlocking blocks into the best film of its year, as well as one of the most joyous experiences I’ve ever had in a movie theater, I can only imagine what they’re going to do when they’re let loose inside the SW universe. If I’ve been right all this time, and R1 ends up feeling way too much like the proper episodes, the Han Solo movie is going shake the galaxy up.

John Williams confirmed for Episode 8 and Indy 5!

Awesome! There are two kinds of film composers: John Williams, and composers who wish they were John Williams. Is it just me, or does he elevate some movies with his music? The Witches of Eastwick and Home Alone, for example, were beneath him, but he brought his magic.

Home alone is totally his Christmas album. Star if Bethlehem which he wrote for that film is my favorite carol.

His usual trademark sound is so recognizable that I think people overlook his versatility. You don’t have to look any further than the cantina tune. And have you seen Altman’s The Long Goodbye? Williams composed the theme song, which plays all through the film.
