It’s tough to argue that the best of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, bundled in an enhanced graphics package, in a 3 for 1 deal isn’t a great way to revisit the games in preparation for the upcoming (please, God, let it be good) movie.  Or, if you’ve never played the Assassin’s Creed franchise, you really should play the first game, but if you want to dive into installments 2-4 of the series, you can’t go wrong.  While it’s hitting the big screen, the series is taking a break.  There will be no installment this year, and it looks like 2017 will be assassin-free as well.  This is ironic since last year’s Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate was the best game in the series since the final installment in this package.  Rumor is when next we meet, the setting will be ancient Egypt, which is worth waiting for if they can find an Assassin protagonist as deep, charismatic, and fun as Ezio Auditore.  In this trilogy, you will follow Ezio from a clueless youth to the end of his life as the leader of the Assassin Order.  Assassin’s Creed II is undoubtedly the best game in the series, Brotherhood is a slight stumble, but Revelations gave Ezio a grand finale in Constantinople.  You can earn up to 3,000 gamer points if you stealthily stab your way to 100%.  Achievement list below provided by the shadowy organization known only as xboxachievements.com.  The Ezio Collection is available now for Xbox One and Playstation 4.
