MASSIVE X-Men Days of Future Past Photo Gallery; 17 Character Profiles

FOX has released a few new images of action on-set in X-Men Days of Future Past, but 17 individual character profiles for the mutants starring in the film (Anna Paquin’s Rogue was cut if you’re wondering where she is). SEVENTEEN characters. Just these. This is certainly going to be the biggest super hero epic we’ve seen yet, and costly too (FOX has reportedly spent more on DOFP than any other film in its history save Avatar). The pay-off should be worth it though with Bryan Singer returning to helm the franchise that started the modern comic book movie renaissance. Of the portraits, I love Blink and I’m so glad to see her in this film. Omar Sy’s Bishop looks incredible. Whomever thought that was a good look for Quicksilver…really just made Joss Whedon’s use of him in Avengers 2 a lay-up. X-Men Days of Future Past will open May 23, 2014.

Just How Big Are the Sentinels in X-Men Days of Future Past?

Bryan Singer, who has been Tweeting pictures from the set of X-Men Days of Future Past with the enthusiasm of a spectator, today gave people an idea of the scale of sentinels we’ll see in the film.  They’re not the Pacific Rim-sized sentinels in the comics, but I don’t know that would work in a movie as well as something Transformer-sized.  I think the designs look great.

Following the vein of the Professor X and Magneto posters we saw unveiled earlier this week, comes a teaser poster for X-Men Days of Future Past featuring Wolverine. I really want to see Old Man Logan and Wolverine scrap. That mental image will make me happy for hours. X-Men Days of Future Past hits theaters next summer.
