There’s nothing geeks love to do more than dissect the every frame out of trailers and ponder the deep meaning that might be contained within. Now, this isn’t every still from this week’s amazing third trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron, but there are still over 60 for you to examine with a microscope. Just to be contrary, the pictures move from Vision’s reveal at the very end of the trailer to its opening, and I have included a copy of the trailer in the post so you can remember why we’re all hot and bothered in the first place. Avengers: Age of Ultron opens May 1, 2015. You can click on each picture for a larger, HD version. Continue reading Over 60 Photos From Avengers: Age of Ultron Trailer 3!!!!

Halfway through September, this is still the best movie of the year. Cap 2 rises to the standard of great film, because when I try to pick one scene out of it as my favorite, I get deadlocked in roughly an eight-way tie for first. As a lifelong comic and Cap fan I just sat there smiling like the world’s biggest idiot for most of the film, but I believe my idiot smile reached its pinnacle when Cap, Widow and Falcon are just trying to survive against The Winter Soldier. The fight choreography is astounding. The thing Bucky does with the knife….that shouldn’t be possible. I don’t even know if its. I know this movie me made me believe it COULD be. So smart, so funny and so reverent to the characters, this film top s the MCU heap for me and I maybe the best compliment I can give it is I want to get Avengers 2 out of the way so we can get back to this Cap story! (Not really, I need to see both.)
It’s become such a staple of the Marvel movie experience that when the credits rolled on Guardians of the Galaxy, not a single person in my audience even got up to stretch. After ten films, people know that you are crazy if you leave before THE END CREDITS SCENE! They were surprises with the first few films, but now everyone expects something big at the end of the credits that’s going to get us psyched for the next film. Some even have two post-credits scenes now. Continue reading Top 5: Marvel Post-Credits Scenes

Disney released a press release with bare bones details and cover art. No word yet on a Marvel One-Shot. The last One-Shot, featuring Ben Kingsley’s Mandarin, is going to be a tough act to follow….
