Trailer Time: Walt Disney’s Frozen Trailer #3 (2013)

I really did love Tangled.  It brought me back to the glory days of animation from The Little Mermaid through The Lion King and gave me some hope that the regular Disney animation studio was clawing its ways out of the “Home on the Range” period ashes.  I have to say, the proportion of anthropomorphic snowman to actual story is going to determine in large part this film’s success.  That’s just an early hunch on my part.  Third trailer out from Disney (though really the second when you consider the first consisted of the snowman and the reindeer fighting over the snowman’s nose).Frozen

New Poster for Disney’s Frozen

Frozen, Disney

Disney has released a new poster for their Snow Queen-based animated film, Frozen.  The first trailer was fun, but I’m looking forward to a real trailer.  Tangled was so much fun; it’d be great to have another Disney classic to look forward to at the holidays.

The voice cast includes Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad, Santino Fontana, and Alan  Tudyk.  Official synopsis below, Frozen will open nationwide on November 27, 2013.

In Frozen, a prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, so Anna (voice of Bell) must team up with Kristoff, a daring mountain man, on the grandest of journeys to find the Snow Queen (voice of Menzel) and put an end to the icy spell. Encountering Everest-like extremes, mystical creatures and magic at  every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction.

These fantastic movie posters was created by artist Tony Enriquez. The posters include Tron: Legacy, Looper, Indiana Jones, The Prestige, District 9, 3:10 to Yuma, and Wreck it Ralph,   Movie posters can be such cool art and, in this case, most of these are better than the ones the studio used.
